Serving more than 85,000 community members each year, our Emergency Centers in Clinton Township and Warren have made incredible strides during the past year along to provide the most superior care available - for major and minor emergencies. Both hospitals feature dedicated chest pain and trauma treatment areas, along with advanced specialists and technology.

Clinton Township

Accredited Chest Pain Center: Henry Ford Macomb Hospital was the first hospital in the region to receive accreditation from the prestigious Society of Chest Pain Centers. The accreditation recognizes the advanced services and medical expertise in place to not only quickly diagnose patients with chest pain, but also treat heart attack victims. In fact, Henry Ford Macomb Hospital consistently delivers life-saving care to heart attack patients more than twice as fast as the nation average.

ER Express: Recognizing that not everyone arriving at the Emergency Center suffers from life-threatening problems, the new ER Express treats patients with minor emergencies separately. With advanced "quick" test capabilities and dedicated staff, ER Express promises to treat and discharge patients within 90 minutes of their arrival! The service, which is based in the Emergency Center, is available from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., seven days a week. Of course, our Emergency Center, which is open 24 hours a day, is dedicated to treating these minor emergencies quickly, even when ER Express is not available.

Warren

Henry Ford Macomb Hospital-Warren Campus' Emergency Department is equipped to handle all types of emergencies, from minor to life-threatening. Staffed by Henry Ford Medical Group physicians, the department uses an electronic medical records system, provides quick and easy bedside registration and offers specialized expertise to treat patients with stroke symptoms or chest pain.
